Moeko's head feels fuller.

Sometimes we try to fix too much, you know.

...you mean severed the connection?

Your kids have all but vanished, dear.

...don't joke about that. It's bad enough that the new girl is trying to do exactly that...!

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
And I need to fix something or else I'm going to go crazy.

Yeah. Fixed.

... I don't care. I don't get to be human.

... Wait what.

Why not fix something OTHER than people's heads?

...do you notice it at all, by the way?

...you sound like Shiroko.

That new girl? Ryuuko? She wants Shiroko to be a cheerleader with her. And she's forceful enough, and Shiroko is impressionable enough, that it'll probably happen.

Because I try to ignore it and do my job and then when people complain about something that is obviously a psychological bullshit issue, I see how I can fix it without destroying their minds!

It's like a small pin prickle on occasion.

So?

... Oh dear god.

Sometimes taking out the stick can cause the floodwaters to destroy the village, not save it.

...I suppose that'd be appropriate.

It's annoying. You both should stop it.

Yeaaaaah.

So build a new village.

Yup.

Besides. I like living in a giant adaptable computer.

... Half of me is terrified, and half of me wants to watch the train wreck in action.

Destroying the village is destroying the people inside, and the foundations which make it unique. You might be able to make a new one, but that isn't a replacement so much as a stand-in. It defeats the point of fixing if you put a new machine in it's place. That's not fixing at all.

I should... currently busy, though. Lots of things on my plate.

And she likes feeling miserable. ...in your case I can't call BS so much, but on hers I can.

I'm curious if it'll cause any sort of shift in her head.

Eh. Unique is overrated some times. I can see your next argument but... still.

Poor guy. You should get some help.

... o/~

... Shift?

Perhaps, but the beauty of humanity is it's relative randomness. Taking that away takes away a bit of their humanity. And still, if you replace something wholesale, you didn't 'fix' it at all.

Sadly, this is something I need to do. At least I should have some free time one finals are over.

Still, you shouldn't prevent yourself from being happy.

Yeah. We've chipped away at her defenses for quite a while. It'd be interesting to see if Shiroko can handle Ryuuko without developing a new personality. If so, then she'll have made some progress.

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:03 am (UTC)(link)
... Yes I did. I just fixed everything.

Ah. Good luck, do ask for help though.

I am happy. I have a daughter and a potential boyfriend. So...

... I'm have cheering for her to succeed, and half cheering for her to turn into a bubblehead. I don't know why.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
...no, you just replaced the person. You may as well have made a clone, programmed to your specifications.

It's mostly things I have to do myself. Lots of wraithbone. ...though, I might have you help me with my current project...

Ah? ...Ah, right Saikou, and Souha. I guess that's fine, then.

I'm just hoping it'll open a crack that we can pull her out from.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:17 am (UTC)(link)
Eh.

... I'm listening~

Yeah. Works out enough.

I'm mostly just going to be watching and snickering. I like Shiroko, but... if she lets cheerleading screw her over that badly, she had it coming to her.

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:34 am (UTC)(link)
...mmm...

I'm making a body... it's quite sound, for locomotion and holding a personality, but with the last one, I had the benefit of an Earthbound to power it. In this case, I may need something more. ..besides that, it'll be for a little girl, so I may want to do more than the Barbie doll I made for Kurochi.

Mmm.

That Ryuuko is a pretty forceful one. Somewhere between Jean and Victoria.

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:43 am (UTC)(link)
mmm.

So you need locomotion and complexity. I mostly use clockwork and what not for Saikou and the others. Very efficent. Easy to rebuild, and I use realistic organs.

Could we not mention the Graves please?

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Mostly I need a power source. Locomotion is easy enough. It's based on warp energies, which respond well to psychic impulses.

...ah? Sorry, didn't realize that was a sore spot for you.

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Perpetual Clockwork plus the Soul to induce sentience. Once the mind operates and the gears turn, it keeps itself going plus the need for nutrients.

They're a bunch of useless ungrateful spoiled little brats who have never known the need to do anything even close to importance. I saved one from a constant cycle of death, and all she does is insult me.

So they can go die in a fire.

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
...so she'd have to eat. ... Hmm... I suppose it could work... just need to figure out how to combine the two.

...geeze, you really hate them, don't you?

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
We'll have tea together and cookies and swap plans.

Quite a bit.

Sounds good.

Mmm....

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I can't say I particularly care for the Graves either... I just didn't realize anyone loathed them so much.

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2009-08-28 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
They're also why I don't want my mind back in Moeko's body.

How would you consider me for the most part despite my niceties?

A spoiled brat?

Re: [Private to Noriko]

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2009-08-29 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
...I... probably wouldn't say that, but... I could see where that'd come from, yes.
